When you prioritise people over profit, you’re playing a different game and that comes with more challenges.

You genuinely don’t have the same freedom to experiment, pivot, or take risks as businesses that put profit first. That can slow your growth or make it feel harder to reach your goals. It costs more in time, energy, and money, especially in the beginning.

The project for SomaPsych was a comprehensive systems overhaul aimed at addressing inefficiences with systems they had outgrown. Over approximately six months, we worked together on a number of projects to develop cohesive systems that ultimately made significant enhancements to the way their business runs.

Did you know that approximately 26% of LGBTQIA++ adults also identify as disabled? In Aotearoa New Zealand, 20% of LGBTQIA++ individuals report experiencing discrimination based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. Sometimes it’s easy for me to forget that living in an inclusive bubble doesn’t reflect real society.
